LCBO Note Status
Weather in Ontario's 2015 vintage was a bit chaotic, particularly early in the growing season, but old vines - such as the Pinot Noir vines used to make this wine, which were planted in the 1980s in dolomitic limestone interspersed with clay - are so deeply rooted as to not even notice such trifles. Expect rich, brambly berry fruit, earth, mineral and wisps of oak, and pair the wine with beef bourguignon or seared duck breast with braised mushrooms. Price $ 44.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
