Bright extremely pale straw colour. Spicy, gently honeyed, fairly intense, lemon-melon-apple nose with some mineral notes. Fairly dry, medium-light bodied, vibrant, spicy, ripe apple-melon flavours with some lemony notes on the crisp, unoaked finish. Has 12% alcohol and 11 g/L residual sugar with lot number 5117B on the lower part of the glass bottle. with a screwcap closure. The 2015 ( *+/**) was released on October 1, 2016 at $17.20. A stone's throw from the shores of Georgian Bay, Coffin Ridge makes this Riesling in a crisp, bracingly mineral style with plenty of tangy citrus and green apple. All of their wines are suitable for vegans. This one will go nicely with vegan potato pierogies served with leeks and mushrooms sautéed in olive oil and garlic. It'll also suit grilled lake fish.
