Medium to medium-deep amber colour. Spicy, Rummy, molasses nose with some faintly smoky notes. Very faintly sweet, medium bodied, well structured, spicy, honeyed, quite rich, fairly intense, caramel purée flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, very faintly bitter, Weetabix-tinged finish. This Single Still Demerara Rum is made in the double wooden pot still built for use by the Port Mourant estate since 1732. It is the only still of its kind in operation today and is used to produce small batches of the Port Mourant. Has 40% alcohol with lot number JUN/14/18 located on the neck of the bottle. CSPC 469973
