MOSCATO GRAPPA Italy
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer POLI
Clear and colourless. Attractive, very bright, intense, sweetish, candied, maraschino cherry nose with only a touch of grass. Slightly off dry, medium bodied, attractive, spicy, faintly honeyed, hay-tinged, harmonious, somewhat tangy, ripe maraschino cherry flavours with a lingering, slightly grassy finish. Classy and tasty albeit not inexpensive. The 1998 vintage of this Moscato Grappa was released on August 3, 2002 (150 cases) at $99.95 but not presented for evaluation. CSPC 942664
