PAUL BOSC ESTATE CHARDONNAY 2015 VQA St. David's Bench, Niagara-on-the-Lake
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHÂTEAU DES CHARMES
The now-mature 2014 - not the 2015 - was presented at the press preview in the LCBO lab. This assessment was done from a bottle purchased at Vintages. Bright medium to medium deep straw colour. Rather spicy, mature, intense, lemony, tropical fruit cocktail nose with perhaps an over-abundance of cedary notes. Has 13.7% alcohol and 4 residual sugar. Ready to drink. CSPC 287268
Type White Table Wine

TASTING NOTE: The vines that grew this Chardonnay were planted 40 years ago by Paul Bosc, back when French wine grapes were almost unheard of in Niagara. It's a rich, creamy Chard showing spice, toast and sweet cedar along with ripe citrus and pineapple, and the finish is luxuriously long. Savour with lobster rolls. Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - October 27, 2018
