| Bright light yellow colour. Intense, complex, very sweet, ripe apple puree nose with some caramel notes. Extremely sweet, medium-bodied, well structured, spicy, intense, ripe apple purée flavours with a lingering, caramel and Seville orange marmalade tinged finish. This 100% Riesling has 9.2% alcohol, 245 g/L residual sugar. Unfortunately, Inniskillin has not updated the 2017 website spec sheet which links to the old 2014 tech sheet. Believe it or not, the SAQ sells this for just $72.00 (#10296511). TONY ASPLER / 93-points / TRY - Bright old gold colour; a bouquet of mango and honey; medium to full-bodied, sweet, candy-apple flavour with balancing acidity and an engaging touch of bitterness on the finish to add extra complexity. |
