Light orange-amber colour. Sweet, spicy, honeyed, vanilla-caramel nose with some chestnut-tinged marzipan notes. Very sweet, medium bodied, quiet viscous, spicy, honeyed, intense, caramel-almond-marzipan flavours with a lingering finish. Unfortunately, this batch has a somewhat artificial note. Has 24% alcohol with lot number L18166 on the back label. This REPEAT last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on November 25, 2017 at $39.95. CSPC 242941

TASTING NOTE: Appearance: Clear, coppery golden amber. Aroma: Pungent honeycomb, dried apricot, bitter almond and marzipan. Taste: Rich and syrupy with caramel, marzipan, macaroon, Madeira, battenberg cake and apricot. Aftertaste: Marzipan, apricot, toasted almond, honeycomb toffee, chocolate and mild spice.
