ESTATE PINOT NOIR 2015 BC VQA Okanagan Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer 50TH PARALLEL
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, very fruity, ripe cherry-plum puree nose with some slight horseradish notes. Very dry, medium bodied, dense, ripe, cedary, baked, over extracted, plum-cherry flavours with a fairly high acid, faintly smoky finish. Not my style of Pinot Noir. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Spicy, earthy, plum nose with oak spice; medium to full-bodied, dry, earthy plum flavor and a tannic lift on the finish. CSPC 609164
