Based upon the distillation of rose leaves, this spirit is used in the Chinese community as an after meal digestive. It can also be used in mixed drinks, such as Vlaknomoura: Mix 1 part Gin, 1 part Curacao, 1 part Peppermint liqueur, 1 part Vodka and 1 part Mei Kuei Lu Chiew. Our panel's tasting note: Aroma of rose petals. Lovely aromatics are followed by a well-matched palate. Like drinking a very fine rose water. Serve chilled. Quite delicious. (May 2001) Price $ 23.85
