Intrepid Spirits Limited |
Extremely bright light day-go lime colour Very spicy, honeyed, sweet and citrusy with a mild Chartreuse-like nose with some faintly floral, minty, honeydew notes. Sweet, medium bodied, smooth, very spicy, gently herbal, tangerine citrus flavours with a lingering, bright, tangerine-nutmeg finish. Has 29% alcohol with lot number L18007 on the back label. A Cocalero is a coca leaf grower usually found in Peru and Bolivia. A nice package and quite tasty - reminiscent of sweet, watered down, Chartreuse. The front label says that this South American Herbal Spirit was made from “17 curious and exceptional botanicals.” The only thing that is Irish about this is the colour! Intrepid was founded in 2013 in Dublin is focused on brands that are rooted in local culture and claim to use traditional methods and locally-sourced ingredients wherever they can. |
