| The LCBO refused to allow the accredited wine reviewers to taste this March 16 release. A REPEAT - here is my previous note that last appeared in Vintages (***/***+) with 96-points on October 27, 2018 at $172.95. Light yellow amber colour. Intense, complex, smoky, sweet baked plum nose with some cedary-vanilla notes. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, very intense yet harmonious, extremely bright, slightly spicy, ripe plum-caramel flavours with some salt-toffee flavours and a lingering, crisp, smoky, vanilla-tinged finish. Has 54.2% alcohol. |
