The LCBO refused to allow the accredited wine reviewers to taste this March 30 release. The 2015 appeared in Vintages (**/**+) with 88.5-points on February 3, 2018 at $16.95 and was Recommended. Here is my previous note: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, cedary, crancherry-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, tangy, plummy, ripe cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, spicy, cedary, harmonious,licorice-tinged finish. This 14% alcohol blend of Malbec, Bonarda and Syrah has 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L34792-3 2017/07/12 on the back label. CSPC 37036

TASTING NOTE: A blend of vineyards in Uco and Luján de Cuyo, there's 70% malbec, 20% bonarda, and 10% syrah in this wine. The style has changed from its first vintage in 2005, and now, instead of voluptuousness and ripeness, it's focused on linearity, freshness, and underscoring its red fruit through less oak and earlier harvests. This is delicious red fruit juice with herbs and an accent on the acidity and its firm, fierce tannins. Score - 91 (Patricio Tapia, Descorchados, 2018) Price $ 16.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - March 30, 2019
