TASTING NOTE: Situated south of the Loire River from Touraine, Haut-Poitou is a relatively new appellation, having just gained official status in 2011. The soils there are clay and limestone, and this wine is particularly mineral, with a flinty tone complemented by a core of tangy grapefruit. All elements are in excellent balance. Sip this with shellfish. (Vintages panel, May 2018) Price $ 16.95
