SHIRAZ 2015 WO Franschhoek
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ALLÉE BLEUE
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Complex, intense, very cedary, baked black cherry purée nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, spicy, very cedary, dense, plum-cherry purée flavours with a lingering, high acid finish. Quite delicious - try with game, perhaps roast duck. This 100% Shiraz was grown in a single estate vineyard and spent 14 months in barrel. It has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16235.

A Best Buy
This wine was made from 100% Shiraz grown in a single estate vineyard and spent 14 months in barrel. The producer suggests pairing it with ostrich kebabs. If you don't happen to have ostrich on hand, grilled chicken thighs or duck will go nicely as well. TASTING NOTE: Unique light acidic flavor with plum taste.
