Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, mature, ripe plum-cherry purée nose with some sandalwood-cedar and mineral-tinged, red licorice notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, ripe red and black cherry purée flavours with a good intense, complexity followed up by a lingering, fairly high acid slightly spicy, finish. Quite ready to drink. This classic Aglianico 2011 has 14% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16.027. CSPC 96792
