Deep yellow colour. Intense, very spicy, bitter, herbal, clove-tinged, licorice nose. Quite sweet, medium-full bodied, well structured, honeyed, somewhat bitter, very intense, clove-tinged, wintergreen flavours with a lingering, pungent, evergreen finish. May not be for everyone. Made in Quebec, it has 36% alcohol and comes in a 500 ml bottle. This bitter herbal liqueur with origins in Bavarian monasteries was originally scheduled not to be presented at the Vintages release tasting.
