A REPEAT that last appeared in Vintages (***/***+) with 94-points on November 25, 2017 at only $99.95 and was a Recommended Best Buy. Here is my previous note: Bright orange-tinged medium ambering colour. Intense, very faintly peppery, slightly spicy, autumnal, fallen leaf nose with some hints of caramel and gingerbread. Solid, dry, medium bodied, caramel-tinged, faintly leafy, intense, caramel-plum flavours with a spicy, slightly cedary, lingering finish. Has 40% alcohol and July-2017-C3399 on the back label. |

| TASTING NOTE: Golden tinted and a bright nose of fresh herbs and spring flowers, belying its mix of 15- to 25-year- old brandies, significant age for an XO. A blend of all four of Armagnac's grapes: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard, and Baco. There's a profound juiciness, the summer peach of fond memory, balanced by spice and green tobacco, and a long finish of attractive pepper and nutmeg.
