CABERNET ICEWINE 2017 VQA Niagara Peninsula, Ontario
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer HENRY OF PELHAM
One of 89 items (64% of 139 releases) not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. This REPEAT last appeared in Vintages (***) on February 2, 2019 at $39.95. Here is my previous note: Bright very light reddish pink colour. Attractive, sweet, ripe plum-strawberry puree nose with some vanilla sugar notes. Very sweet, medium bodied, rounded, fairly creamy, smooth, ripe plum-strawberry puree flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp finish. Ready-to-drink. This THIRD REPEAT has 9.5% alcohol and 228 g/L residual sugar with 9.8 g/L total acidity. The LCBO website incorrectly reports that this has 10% alcohol and 209 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 672402
