Very deep intense purple colour. Extracty, slightly herbal, dried plum nose with some toasty sage. Very dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, dense, youthful, still slightly tannic, ripe firm plum flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L0819/113 on the back label. Try with a rib steak. Has not appeared in Vintages before. CSPC 114199

TASTING NOTE: Block 5, which produces this impressive Cabernet Sauvignon, is the stoniest site on the Riglos estate, producing wines that are dense, chewy and compact. Savoury and a little wild, with damson and black currant fruit, aromatic oak and the concentration to age. Drink date: 2021-2028.
