LCBO Note Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
TASTING NOTE: A blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot, Stratus' red icewine brings pretty notes of red berries (strawberry, raspberry) as well as a lovely floral note that lingers in the background. It's a medium- bodied, viscous icewine offering sour cherry and raspberry flavours as well as underlying tangerine and dried apricot notes that are accentuated by the rich, opulent sweetness. The vibrant acidity manages to tie it all together on the relatively long finish. Score - 90 (Ben MacPhee-Sigurdson, winealign.com, July 19, 2019) Price $ 44.95
