This is one of 68 items (125 releases) that was not going to be presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. Any item that is not presented is assigned NO star (-) and an interim 0-point proxy score until it is properly assessed. The 2016 last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on September 15, 2018 at $24.95 and was an Explorer Selection. Here is my previous note: Fairly attractive, spicy, fresh, ripe apple-yellow plum puree nose. Fairly dry, medium-light bodied, tangy, grassy, ripe lemon-apple puree flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. This new blend of 42% Sauvignon Blanc, 47% Sémillon and 11% Muscadelle has 13% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. |
