ULTRA LEYENDA CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2017 Vistalba Vineyard, Mendoza
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KAIKEN
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, very bright, spicy, gently juicy, attractive, ripe, plummy-crancherry nose with some cedary, bright, cassis-raspberry notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, spicy, mouthfilling, intense, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, lifted, cedar-tinged, cassis-raspberry finish. Try with a rib steak. This still-youthful 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 80-year-old-vines has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L19324 on the back label. After a extended one-month fermentation, it was 100% aged in French oak (1/3 new) for 12 months and bottled with minimal filtration.
