BONARDA 2016 Mendoza |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
EL ENEMIGO |
Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, juicy, ripe, black cherry purée nose with some hints of olive, chocolate and walnut. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, solid, ripe, juicy, intense, olummy-black-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, sandalwood-cedar finish. This blend of 85% Bonarda and 15% Cabernet Franc has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19305 (labeling date) on the back label. Try with bbq ribs. NEW in Vintages. |
