| Assessed from a bottle purchased at the LCBO. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Extremely deep intense purple colour. Fairly spicy, classy, bright, ripe, plum-cherry-raspberry purée nose with some savoury cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, intense, ripe, cassis-plum flavours with a lingering, sandalwood-cedar-tinged, harmonious, fairly savoury finish. Quite ready-to-drink. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17128 on the back label. Better than the recommended 2015 (**/**+) that was released on June 23, 2018 at $18.95. |
