LCBO Note Status Recommended by Vintage Assessments!
The Balvenie ‘Single Barrel’ 15-year-old is taken from a single second-use Bourbon cask rather than the usual practice of blending with several barrels of the same age. This means that because every barrel imparts a different flavour, and though The Balvenie has a recognizable house style (which Michael Jackson describes as “the most honeyish of malts, with a distinctively orangey note. Luxurious.), each bottling will taste different each time out. Price $ 89.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - January 10, 2004
Cases bought 255 (3 bottles per case)
