| Assessed from a bottle provided by the winery. At $160 a 750 ml bottle this better be great - and it is! Light yellow colour, the nose is intense, sweet and spicy with lots of ripe apple puree fruit with some honeyed, caramel notes. Very sweet, medium bodied, spicy, tangy, honeyed, intense, ripe, warm apple-apricot puree flavours with a lingering, gently viscous, effervescent, honeyed-caramel-raisin-butter-tart--tinged finish. Very tasty and ready-to-drink. Has 9.5% alcohol and 212 g/L residual sugar. A REPEAT of the 2018 (***) that was released on October 26, 2019 at $79.95. |
