Bright pale straw colour. Intense, slightly spicy, gently complex, intense, ripe lemon-apple meringue nose with some faintly tropical, cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, tangy, spicy, ripe lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, crisp, cedary, mineral-tinged, fairly high acid, slightly tropical finish. Quite ready-to-drink. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21015 on the back label. This is the 23nd release of this wine in Vintages since December 6, 2003 and is not quite up to the best buy 2019 (**+) that was released on January 9,2021 at $19.95. CSPC 918805

TASTING NOTE: Grown on four vineyards ranging from 950 to 1,450 metres in elevation, this Chardonnay consistently impresses with its fullness of ripe peach, citrus and tropical tones, its mineral, floral embroidery and its subtle toasty notes, the latter from 10 months in French oak.
