‘WOODFORD RESERVE’ BOURBON Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Labrot & Graham
Last seen in Vintages on October 6, 2001 at $42.55. Scored ** Light amber colour. Rather peppery, sweetish, wood ruff anise and cedar shaving nose. Very peppery, tartish, dusty, dried lemon and caramel-directed, cedar shavings flavours. It’s the high proof that makes it seem rather aggressive on the palate. Last appeared in Vintages (**) on October 6, 2001 at $ 42.55. CSPC 480624

A Valentine’s gift for him. Warm the senses with this small batch, hand-crafted Bourbon from Kentucky’s smallest working distillery, the ‘official Bourbon’ of both The Kentucky Derby and The Breeder’s Cup. Enjoy neat or with a splash of pure spring water. Score – 91. (David Lawrason, Wine Access, July 2000) Price $ 43.95
