| A third REPEAT of the 2018 (***) that was originally released on October 26, 2019 at $79.95. Here is a new note from a fresh bottle. Medium gold colour, the nose is intense with very sweet, caramel-driven, warm, baked apple fruit plus honeyed, spicy, faintly balsamic notes. Sweet, medium-full bodied, spicy, tangy, honeyed, intense, ripe, apple-apricot puree and Seville orange marmalade flavours with a lingering, viscous, gently effervescent, honeyed-caramel-raisin-butter-tart finish. Very tasty and ready-to-drink. Has 9.5% alcohol and 231 g/L residual sugar with 11.2 g/L total acidity, At $160 per 750 ml bottle this better be great - and it is! |
