RIESLING ICEWINE 2019 VQA Niagara Peninsula, Ontario
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer INNISKILLIN
Bright very light yellow colour. Intense, complex, very sweet, ripe appl-apricot puree nose with some caramel and Seville orange marmalade notes. Extremely sweet, medium-bodied, well structured, spicy, intense, fairly pungent, very ripe apple purée flavours with a lingering, high acid, caramel-driven, Seville orange marmalade tinged finish. It has 9.5% alcohol, 245 g/L residual sugar and a whopping 12.53 g/L total acidity. This is still extremely youthful rating 94-points today and really needs more time. It will hit 97-points if properly stored in a cool cellar a decade from now. CSPC 558288
