This new 2019 has an extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, juicy, bright, cassis-plum purée nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, somewhat savoury, bright, ripe, black-cherry-plum-cassis flavours with a lingering, faintly cedary, fairly high acid finish. Can age - perfect with a rib steak. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in French oak for 12 months and has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16821 on the back label. The recommended best buy 2016 (**+) was released on August 31, 2019 at $18.95. CSPC 646844
