VIDAL ICEWINE 2004 VQA Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHÂTEAU DES CHARMES
A **+ Silver Medal winner in the 2006 Canadian Wine Challenge and is Recommended. (the world’s largest, single vintage, comparative blind icewine judging). My notes read: Medium yellow colour. Spicy, bright, honeyed, baked apple and caramel nose. Attractive, gently spicy, honeyed, rose hip and ripe apple purée flavours with an elegant finish. Not overly viscous or complex - just pretty.
