| This Vintages Essential gem is just one of several Jackson-Triggs wines being served at the 2023 Lunar New Year Fete Chinoise on January 28. It has a deep bright golden yellow colour and a lovely, intense, sweet, spicy, honeyed, caramel-driven, warm, ripe apple-apricot puree nose. Very sweet, medium-full bodied, rich, spicy, attractive, honeyed, apple-apricot puree flavours with a long, lingering, bright, Seville orange marmalade and lifted creme brulee finish. This has 9.3% alcohol and 215 g/L residual sugar with a hefty 11 g/L of mouthwatering acidity. Out of 380 Vidal icewines reviewed, this was one of only a few to achieved the DOUBLE GOLD score of 95-points. |
