| This ex-Vintages award-winner is now a GL widely available in over 370 LCBO stores. Bright light gold colour. Attractive, intense, gently honeyed, slightly spicy, floral, ripe plummy-caramel nose. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, smooth, plummy, malty, buttery, caramel flavours with a lingering, slightly floral, lifted finish. Wonderfully easy to drink. Thankfully no writers were harmed in the making it, except perhaps only when sipping a tad too much. Triple distilled and aged in flame-charred American oak Boutbon barrels. This International Spirits Challenge Gold Medal winner has 40% alcohol with lot number 22/07/21 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |
