EL ENEMIGO CHARDONNAY 2019 Mendoza
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer EL ENEMIGO
What a lovely Chardonnay - a release highlight. Bright straw colour with an intense, gently cedary, complex, lemon meringue nose with some slightly spicy, ripe Anjou pear notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, very slightly spicy, intense, complex, elegantly toasty, ripe lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, minerally, well balanced, cedary finish. Note that this Chardonnay spent 9 months in French oak (35% new) partially under flor and has 13.5% alcohol, 2 g/L residual sugar and a hefty 7.5 g/L total acidity with lot number 21330 on the back label.
