Tasting note: Medium deep espresso coffee brown colour with aromas of walnut, mint, chestnut, curry and a hint of earth. Medium sweet with excellent aroma replays. Medium full-bodied, not cloying with a long finish. Enjoy on ice, over ice cream or with sugared walnuts. (Vintages panel, July 2003) Go to page 50 for a great mussels recipe (Mouclade a l’eau de noix) using this Walnut Liqueur. |
