GRAN CORTE 2019 Gualtallary, Valle de Uco, Mendoza
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ALTA-YARÍ
NEW in Vintages - this tasty blend from the cool high-altitude Valle de Uco has 60% Cabernet Franc, 35% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and comes with an extremely deep intense purple colour. Elegant, intense, slightly floral, fresh rose aromatics along with ripe plum, cassis and raspberry fruit. Dry, medium-full bodied, harmonious, mouthfilling but balanced, very attractive, ripe, Damson plum fruit with nuances of raspberry and cherry with some minerality and a hint of pink peppercorn. Despite being aged in French oak barrels for 16 months., there are no oaky notes in sight. A pleasure on the palate, it has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L11722 on the back label. CSPC 24894
