RESERVE BOURBON 8 Years Old, Kentucky
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Corner Creek
Light amber colour. Pepper, minty, cedary, vanilla stick nose. Very dry, peppery, tart, lemony, plywood tinged, bitter caramel flavours. My tasting note here is quite different than for the previous release of apparently the same product ($54.85 on October 5, 2002): Ambering medium gold colour. Intense, rather peppery, corn syrup nose with charry notes. Somewhat hot and peppery, albeit smooth for 44% alcohol. Dry, crisp, tangy, sweetish, caramel flavours. CSPC 972216
