| Austria’s signature white, this well-made Gruner Veltliner has a bright very pale straw colour. The attractive, faintly honeyed, floral, gently spicy, ripe lemon-apple-melon purée nose has some schisty, minerally notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, ripe, fresh, apple-melon-lemon flavours with a slightly spicy, lingering, mineral-tinged, oak-free, tangy finish. Ready-to-drink and best with seafood (especially oysters) and poultry. It has 13% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-N 20816/22-L1/22 on the back label. Screwcap closure. |
