Tè BHEAG Connoisseurs' Blend, Unchilfiltered |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Prabàn Na Linne |
A Vintages Essential. This unfiltered blend based on Isle of Skye whisky has a light golden amber colour. Fairly intense, floral, fresh plum nose with some spicy, honeyed notes and a refined touch of smoky peat. Peppery, dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, gently honeyed, peat tinged, ripe plum flavours. Fine value. |

Tè Bheag(pronounced 'chey vek', not 'tea bag') is bottled without filtration. Prabàn Na Linne have specialized in top quality products using sherry casks and have pioneered the concept of un-chilled filtered whisky in order to preserve the aromas and flavours. One of the Scotch world's best values, this 'Gaelic Whisky', as Prabàn calls it, has a richness of toffee and delicate peaty tone. |
