Ambering light gold colour. Complex, smoky, very slightly sweet, caramel, classic nose. Dry, medium full bodied, solid, intense, smoky and somewhat peppery with very tangy, bright, dried lemon and walnut flavours and a lingering dryish finish. |

Established in 1798, Highland Park created this exclusive numbered bottling to celebrate their 200th anniversary. Distilled and barrelled in 1977, the product was bottled in 1998, making it 21 years old. Tasting note: Color: Pale walnut. Nose: Polished oak. Leather upholstery. Body: Firm stain richness. Palate: Minty. Creamy. Freshly peeled satsumas [tangerines]. Orange peels. Dark cherry flavours. Very bitter black chocolate. Astonishing complexity and length. Great power.
