For a tequila to be called a ‘reposado’ it must be matured in oak cask for at least six months. Super premium tequila has become as fashionable as super premium vodka and may be enjoyed on its own much like a single malt Scotch or Cognac. Tasting note: Pale amber colour with exceptional tequila aromas including white pepper, brine and lime zest. Dry and very smooth with a lovely, long, warm finish. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2003) |
