Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Henriques & Henriques
Medium golden amber colour. Sweet, very complex, vanilla, caramel, crème brûlée nose with some intriguing rancid butter notes. Intense, sweet but balanced, rich, full bodied, mouthfilling, tangy, candied tangerine, biscotti and crème brûlée flavours that show remarkable length. Certainly one of the best 10-year-old efforts I have tasted and definitely a best buy. Lay some away today. CSPC 948810

Tasting note: Offers full, rich, complex aromas and flavors reminiscent of sea air and forest undergrowth, caramel and walnuts. Powerful and long, this has substance and a sharpness at the end that’s a little astringent. Drink now. Score – 89. (Bruce Sanderson, www.winespectator.com, Nov. 30, 1997) Price $ 37.95
