| This CONSIGNMENT-ONLY (Savoire Boire) Malbec comes from a 45 acre vineyard site high up in Vista Flores of Valle del Unico, winemaker Felipe Stahlschmidt aims at producing head-turning Malbec. This 2020 has a very deep intense purple colour followed up by an intense, faintly spicy, complex, ripe, plum-cherry-cassis nose with some elegant, cedary, gently earthy notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, ripe, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a youthful, lingering, cedary, lifted, faintly earthy, harmonious, sandalwood-tinged finish. This unfined-unfiltered 100% Malbec spent 22 months in 225-litre French oak and has 14.4% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar. Only 22,000 bottles were produced. |
