| In 2020 after 30 years the LCBO suspended all preview Vintages tastings for accredited wine writers. Last year previews were reinstated for store consultants BUT wine writers were no longed allowed to attend. The LCBO's reply to a request for reinstatement said that we should get samples from producers and wine agents. It states that that our unpaid-for independent reviews no longer “best serve our (LCBO) customers.” Unable to taste. |

| TASTING NOTE: What a perfumed nose with plenty of violets, iodine, blueberries and mineral. Lots of sappy fruit with fine-grained tannins that tightly wrap the full-bodied palate. Pristine, concentrated and quintessential. A selection of the stoniest soils from Paraje Altamira. 100% whole-bunch fermentation. Needs at least two years to soften the tannins. Drink from 2025.
