Deep amber colour. Very fine, complex, gently earthy, gingerbread and baked prunes on the nose. Lovely, rounded, gently spicy, toasty, ripe plum purée and smoky toffee flavours. Well balanced with a lovely finish. |

Ducastaing is one of the oldest Armagnac distilleries and, along with its sister company, Saint-Vivant (a brand last featured in our October 2000 release CSPC 73040), is France's largest producer of Armagnac. The graceful, long-necked, pear-shaped bottle with a small heart-shaped pendant at the top, makes this an ideal gift. |
