The Isle of Arran distillery was opened in 1995, so most of their whiskies are not yet age-designated. Tasting note: Pale wheat straw colour with aromas of heather, flowers, dried peach, new wood and a hint of peat and brine. Dry, fragrant, creamy/buttery textured with a touch of heat on the mid-palate. Light-bodied with a lingering warm floral finish. (Vintages panel, April 2003) |
