| Locke’s Distillery was licensed in 1757 and produced whiskey for over 200 years, closing in 1953. In 1980s Cooley Distillery purchased the property and reopened it as a working distillery. There is no Irish whiskey with a pedigree and tradition to equal Locke’s. (www.redmonds.ie) |
