LCBO Note Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
Tasting note: Colour: Dark amber. Nose: Pungent, sappy. Body: Big, with some dryness of texture. Palate: The flavours are so tightly interlocked at first that the whisky appears reluctant to give up its secrets. Very slow, insistent flavour development. All the components gradually emerge, but in a drier mood. Finish: Long, oaky, sappy. (Michael Jackson, Malt Whisky Companion, 5th Edition, 2004) Price $ 199.95
