BUSHMILLS Single Malt, 16 Years Old ‘Matured in Three Woods’
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer The ‘Old Bushmills’ Distillery Co. Ltd.
Medium amber colour. Spicy, slightly sweet, honeyed caramel nose with lots of rounded, bourbon notes. Solid, dry, gently honeyed, rather peppery, charred, caramel-bourbon flavours that show very good length. CSPC 994053

Lifted Honeyed Caramel
LCBO Note Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
Tasting note: It has an unusual colour for a whiskey, a pinkish gold, that can easily be attributed to time spent aging in used port pipes (barrels). It produces a gentle caramel aroma (charred bourbon casks) with sweet chocolate notes (port again) and is a huge, yet gentle, developed whiskey (those sherry butts). Very stylish long finish. Definitely an after dinner sipper. Slainte. Score – 96. (Patricia Noonan, Wine Access “First In Line E-Report”, Dec. 2001) Price $ 74.95
